Hello! I have been reading with interest quite a few pages of this thread. Our old weather station, an Oregon Scientific, no longer works and we need to buy a new one.
I am interested in the 'ebay' units as mentioned in this thread but I am not sure which one to get. We basically want to use it for low level weather monitoring (not uploading data to the computer).
1081- older station but might be more reliable than touch screen as a lot of you have had problems
1091- touch screen sounds good but maybe not worth the hassle?
2081- newer model, might be the best buy and what I am leaning towards.
It would be handy to have a self emptying rain guage, do any of these models have this?
I welcome your opinions and I would love help deciding which one to buy.
