Yeh and that's at just 1300mm FL, no PEC, no adaptive optics and no self guide either

The intention here is not to think there is matching data quality, the VLT raw data would crapolla all over my data, the idea is to use the side by side comaprison with a higher res image in order to highlight little details that would otherwise go unnoticed .

The use of a barlow would probably allow for better resolution results, particularly with deconvolution but my setup is fiddly enough, I have always baulked at changing a system that works pretty well perfectly
