To be honest, the mount is a piece of rubbish! But it's adequate and I can't afford to upgrade for a while. I took some time to polar align(PA) fairly well then drilled some small holes in the concrete pathway that is it's base to locate the tripod feet, then I refined my PA with my own technique where when setting up for the first time on my holes and using the menue for German Equatorial. I would let it slew to the first star, then instead of using the hand paddle to centre the star I would use the Alt Az adjustments on the mount. A few iterations of this and Jupiter now stays on the chip for a few minutes .. I don't have enough sky to drift align properly
