Good for astrophotography, both .... Reasonably so, a fair compromise will do both, note be ready for the challenge longer focal length imaging brings.
With a 6.3 reducer you are somewhere around the 1500 mm mark. If you are confident at that sort of imaging go for it.... The optical tube is good, I don't know much about the mount though.
