I've just ordered my first dataset - based on NGC2070 taken in 1999 by the FORS2 instrument. It's only small (a couple of meg) just to get a feel for the selection, ordering and delivery process. It'll be interesting to see what comes down the line.

More information on the various HST file types and their meaning is

In the case of HST re-calibrated files, the fits file keyword
"FITSDATE" will reflect the date of reprocessing. The "HISTORY"
keywords will also indicate the new processing applied to the
data. Logfiles accompany each reprocessed datasets.

You can get your files by using anonymous ftp from
ftp://archive.eso.org/pub/archive/XXXXXX/XXXXX (to protect the wicked! - Chris)
Please note that the FTP area is regularly purged, therefore the files will stay available only for the next days.
