Reflection from the primary shouldn't be pointing anywhere near those spots.
It should be at the secondry and straight out through the EP, melting the EP
(but we don't know anyone who has ever done that   ) |
That would be true if the tube was pointed at the sun. If the light is coming in through the side of the truss it won't reflect onto the secondary.
