Hi Chantelle,

I certainly donīt want to put you off your project but I think it is not that easy. Since the only remaining part of your scope is the tube (being the cheapest of all) I would suggest you buy a new scope. The well defined lenses with their multiple coating layers should be hard to obtain from the manufacturer (if they are still in business) and would be very expensive (especially when custom made). The next task would be the mounting of the lenses and collimating of the optical system which requires special equipment. I reckon you end up paying much more for a fix than for a new scope. Perhpas you get a new scope and fix the old one with window glass and keep it as artwork?
Have you got a picture of the old scope and do you know aperture and f-ratio of it? Also what size of focuser has it-1.25" or less--it has a focuser, doesnīt it?
