I have made a screen dump from Stellarium.The darker/bluer grid is todays. The lighter/greyer grid is the J2000.

Like you said the SCP has moved 3' 32.35" in the direction of 12hr RA in ten years

A little over 5 years ago I did an accurate drift align with my AP on the Tak NJP and noted the location of the cross hair in my Tak polar finder, I did a drawing of the Polar finder field noting the location of the SCP (polar finder cross hairs) in relation to Hip 71348 and Hip 58752 and it was a nice almost equilateral triangle but as your Stellarium map shows this triangle has now flattened somewhat and this fact will help me better locate the true SCP now, thanks! Interestingly, it appears that by 2035 the SCP will be located nicely in the middle of these two stars which will make polar aligning with a polar scope very easy!
