Left my car (4 month old MX5) outside a friends home at 9.30pm on a Sunday night in June, finished a quick coffee and returned to find that it had been broken into, both side windows broken and the tops of the console and seat cuddy torn off, all for an iPod and a pair of sunglasses. $700.00 to replace the stolen gear and $1800.00 for the glass and panel damage. I still feel ill when I get into it. Bring back restitution for the offenders, the claim of a difficult upbringing and drug use is a B******T excuse. We all have or have had monkey's on our backs at some stage, and for most of us it makes us better people.
