Monopod
Cheap Monopod - nothing fancy. All that is required at the top is a 1/4" thead. Doesn't need to extend too far. Three segments is plenty. If the foot is missing, I don't mind. You get the idea.
I have my eye on the "Simple Bino Mount, page 74-5 Oz Sky & Telescope , Oct 2010.
I have a ball head I can use, but if this came with one I'd consider that as well to save canibalising from another mount.
