First light image of Jupiter through new C11 2010-09-07 13:52 UTC

Hi All,

Sorry I haven't posted much for a while.

I got a C11 (on CGEM mount) about a year ago as I was determined to get into the last opposition of Jupiter visually.

This time I'm taking some images again. Here is my first image through the new scope. I'm still getting familiar with imaging through this telescope and trying to remember how to operate the processing software so it's pretty rough.

C11 with Ultima 2x Barlow
SPC900NC
Focal length: 6440mm
Focal ratio: f/23
Best 600 of 1500 frames
wxAstroCapture, VirtualDub, RGBSplit, ninox, RegiStax5, GIMP

First image was 1.5x upscaled in ninox prior to stacking.
Seconds image was 1.5x downscaled from the first image.

Thanks for looking, any comments much appreciated.

Have fun,
Doug
