NGC6559 and surrounding nebulosity

Hi,

At the bottom of the Lagoon is another fantastic region of nebulosity. I have seen some fantastic processed images of this region with its pink nebulosity and blue halo's but unfortunately neither of these are in the ball park. I don't really get how to process this area because with my advanced skills of curves then levels then curves and so on, thats really it because so on just means repeating curves and levels.

I have taken 1 hour 40 minutes of Luminence 1x1 bining at 10 minutes subs then stacked in DSS and processed in pHOTOSHOP. Then 40 minutes of each RGB at 5 minute subs 2x2 bining then I stack the three colours in photoshop and align then process these as one image, then I flatten and slightly blur. Then I paste the coloured image ontop of the lum and align and then change from Luminosity to colour and slide up to about 80%. If that makes sense to anyone.

Taken with my W/O Flt 110 and Qhy-9 at minus 20c. Darks applied but nothing else. Two versions but if someone could suggest improvements it would be welcome. I think I have data but lack the skills.
