My first NGC253 from the doghouse - and it shows

well this is the very first time i have imaged this galaxy, but the conditions were absolutely terrible. The neighbours had their floodlights on, the dogtrack was on, and a few night sporting fields were going, but then there was the stiff 30-40km/h winds as well that were gusty - that eventually died down at midnight. I hate the city, the light pollution and outdoor lighting....... that said, i tried my CLS filter. the image ended up being comprised of 20 x 10minute shots at iso 800 wit hthe canon 40D in the 127Ed, focus was spot on, but as you can see the seeing and the atmosphere was crud. oh to have imaged this from somewhere very dark........... I havenrt yet fitted my HP worm and block on the G11 but will do soon as i get enough courage....

the processing isnt crash hot - will redo later stacked in DSS and processed in Pixinsight 1.61 - resized for here in PS
