I think we had forgotten what Victorian weather can be like, 10 years of drought has gotten us used to the dry, but I noticed his year much more cloud cover than previous, and now a splash of heavy rain has given us hope that we can see an end to drought conditions, but then it slips over to the other side and floods.
I am currently looking across the upper yarra valley and all the paddocks are flooded, not to a dangerous level but it gives the impression of looking outnover a large lake.
