Thanks again Humayun I must agree with you there, I like to do some deconvolution/sharpening but not to the extent that the stars end up harsh which I used to do years ago. I prefer to leave the stars a little soft. A little softer in this one than I wanted but happy with the result!

Hi Phil, Thanks mate The 40D still performs quiet well doesn`t it ex when it`s cooled.
Had it running at -2 for this lot.
I wish canon would come out with another "a" model for us..
A 60Dca sounds good (ca for cooled astro model!)

Hi Rich, many thanks. I know I know I have been a little slack at processing and posting my pics and this winter has been real lousy up here. Must pull that finger out
