Townsville Astronomy Group were out at one of the local schools in town last night. The kids loved it - lots of planets kept them excited.
They enjoyed the Moon and a few other objects able to be seen in town, but the planets were the winners for the night.
Kids were given coloured whirly things that glowed in the dark .... all looked really good.
We have been invited back next month.
Nah, the kids were great.
Ah, the giant binoculars were a hit too.
