it is a mistake to use Halpha for luminance for this sort of image. don't feel bad, most that come from the world of LRGB do this without much consideration: it is a common mistake

you simply attenuate the sulfur and oxygen while strengthening the hydrogen. the hydrogen is already dominant and using it for luminance simply aggravates the problem
