Thanks for the comments guys. To be honest (and I know I can be quite thick at times), it hadn't ocurred to me that the view out to the South was where the towers should have been, quite insensitive of me
but that was my first time to NYC and was still pinching myself that I was actually there.
Lens used was the Tamron 18-270 Di-II, a nice all rounder. Kicking myself though that I left my CPL & tripod at home.
