Some images

Hi to everyone

This is my first post to Ice in Space although I've lurked here as a guest for a long time admiring the superb images that get posted. I thought I would share some recent shots with my 12.5" RCOS and STL6303 camera (I also own a STL11000M). I image from my backyard in Southern Canberra, a location with generally indifferent seeing and some light poolution.

This a group of galaxies in Pavo that includes NGC 6872, one of the largest barred spirals known.

The crescent shaped nebula NGC 3199 in Carina, the only narrowband shot I've taken with the STL6303 so far.

Needs no introduction I guess

I was experimenting with Astrodon infrared filters here. UKS1 has a visual magnitude of 17.3 but seems to show up quite well in the infrared.

Here's a STL11K shot to finish up with. I suppose globulars are just about my favourite object. NGC 4833 is a nice example in Musca.

Hope you like the images
