I'm glad that this thread is helping people along. I still believe that a well tuned newt is as good as most mid level refractors.
It definately can produce crisp clear shots that show great details now all i need to do is make this white polished 7urd to work well too
maybe i might look at AO to capture the PE. or just purchase a EM500 or AP 1200GTO. Though that is still a little way away as yet.
I think the next step will be to start looking at weight reduction either CF tubing or aluminium tubing not sure yet but it will happen.
