An Interesting thing I also saw was that the Foxtel dish on her roof seemed to glow red ( I think at the receiver(?)) Foxtel and the TV wasn't on. I thought/think it might have had something to do with the Aurora. Never investigated that......might do it now!

In 2003 there were 3 nights I saw Aurora in Perth and once in the country.. I only photographed them on two nights .. perhaps this is the time you were thinking of? Here's my pics of it..

I think the dish you were watching would have just been reflecting the light
Ever since I've been keeping a very sharp eye out for more. I spent a little time outside last night watching but quickly gave up after keeping a close eye on reports from further south and determining it wasn't worth the time outside.
