Same here. It's got nothing to do with the speed/velocity the object's moving at, just how much it bends spacetime (and that is dependent on mass).
Also, how many times do they have to repeat the same observation over and over again (large concentrations of mass in tiny volumes of space) before people accept that the existence of black holes (despite the fact they've never seen one physically...which is an oxymoron because you can't see one physically, you can only detect its presence) is a given.
