Thank you Carl for your reply.
What I dont get is why an object with 1,000,000 grams mass does not bend space more than one of 1 gram mass... and therefore cause a different "bend" and a greater gravity in effect.
I took some time to try and understand some lectures (particularly the math
) and can see how mass cancels in the Newtonian approach but must have missed something that causes me to raise the question here.
