Light waves from in front of you get 'Blue shifted', their frequencies increase up to gamma rays.

That's what I feel too, it seems like one weeks refuel could lead to a sort of perpetual motion sort of problem, but I haven't found the right answer yet

They may think they are running fast enough to break the speed of light, but time for them has dilated so that, to an observer from earth they are running really slow, so train speed + kid speed is still under C.
