All you have to do is get yourself some of the basic textbooks, like
Universe, and then work your way up from there. Universe isn't hard to understand and they take you through the book as though you came to the subject not knowing anything about it. So whilst it's a textbook for senior year undergraduate and graduate students, it's not hard to understand.
