There was a guy on astromart that was turning out some incredible long focal length shots with a 237 chip (the very small SBIG self guiding chip).
I should use my ST402 for a few of these sorts of images.

Put a x2 or x4 powermate in the image train of the ST402 on "the beast" and then image with that setup for narrowfield!!!!
17" at f13.6 or f27.2....sheesh!!!
