The Goodies were played for years on afternoon television on the ABC, unlike in the UK where I understand there were never repeated. I put that down to the strong suggestion that the BBC were disgruntled that the three Goodies jumped ship to LWT after 8 seasons. Other suggestions were that the head of the BBC at the time simply didn't like the show.
I also saw them on stage in Melbourne in 2005 - 4 rows from the front of the stage - a very memorable evening
