Congratulations on your fabulous scope purchase. Wise choice.

The Tak clamshell is very good and you can piggyback a guide scope on them. You simply whack a screw through the top hole and make sure it screws into the guidescope mounting hole (assuming it has one).

I use an Astrotech 66ED scope which has a mounting hole. It came with a microfocuser, is light, I always find a guide star, and it simply screws onto the clamshell with one screw through the top tightened into the mounting hole under the focuser.

The Astrotech scope cost me about US$200 2nd hand through Astromart and was one of the best astro purchases I've made.

You could use just about any guiding camera as it has plenty of light and gudie stars.

I guide the TEC180 with it as well.
