Many people choose Takahashi telescopes. I see a lot of big refractors used for imaging. Not cheap, but no-one ever complains of a lack of quality or performance.

Seen this scope before...imagine having a 14 foot long tube!!!. This is large dome territory!!!!

Mind you, a 0.5x focal reducer on this piece of glass and you'd have a wicked wide field scope!!!!
