Yep, when I started, I made up a lop-sided upside down (well, at this time of year
) chevron in Carina/Vela. Worked well, and still does, to help me locate Eta Carina, NGC 2808, x Vela, in this area. This asterism stands out well, to me, in brighter city skies.
