Hi Guys
Got the new 80mm WO Fluorite doublet yesterday and couldn't resist a quick session. This is one sweet optical train. Only camera around here atm is an SC3 with no amp-off mod so I'm restricted to maybe 20 secs before the glow kicks in. Here's a very rough and quick M42, Megrez 80 II FD apo on EQ6 Pro Skyscan, unguided 25 x 20sec subs stacked in Registax and messed with in PSP. More processing to be done but you get the idea!
Snaps to focus, nice contrast and *no* false colour, even at high mags. This one is staying put
