I remember cracker night falling on 24th may every year, the old queens birthday (q victoria)(that was in N qld and later Tas) coz it was my BD, and guess what i wanted/and got evry year for birthday :-) giant bag a explosives ahh BANG as chopper would say
I had some mishaps, like blowing my face off, 1st and 2nd degree burns entire face, when a flare went off 3 inches away..no eyebrows for some time as a 10 yr old.. an as a 6 yr old a roll of tomthumbs going off in my pocket, that was common tho.. loved it all
problem is in SA at least bushfires, no canna do here, unless its full winter?
