This might sound harsh but any other 10" RC costs 10,000 dollars. R&D is not the issue. It is more work to produce a Hyperbolic mirror that is 10 inches than an 8 inch. The carbon fibre tube costs more too. teh build quality is nicer too than the 8". However this scope is still $5000 cheaper than the RCOS version. I don't get what you expect here. We are lucky we can buy this sort of scope for this low price. Like Peter said, they cost more wholesale. Maybe GSO wants to make some money on these scopes??
