Hi all
I am now the proud owner of a new 10" dob. as of yesterday.
It was clear last night (after ages) so I even got to use my scope the same day (the skies must like me).
I see lots of colours in stars now which has really excited me.. red, orange, blue, all popping out at me!
Still have lots of mods to do to it so I can pull it a long on wheels (turns out the trolley was a bad idea for me. I tried it out at the store; both together was more IT than me
, and hubby & I saw bad visions of me being pinned down under it.
Also putting a handle under the tube so I can pull it up and down easier.
I also noticed, I'm a lot warmer outside now too... it's so big next to me that it acts as a great barrier against the extremities!
I wonder if one day I will think this scope is too small
