I'm not sure you have over sharpened it but maybe the contrast is a tad high? Some of the brighter areas look to have lost some gradations in brightness perhaps..?

Would you think this is a better camera than the QHY then..?

Thanks Mike. I am going to try and get some colour data, just a matter of weather.
Great camera but I think the QHY9 has a lot going for it not the least being the price. I still have my QHY9 and have no urge to dispose of it yet. Maybe down the track but it still gives nice un vignetted views through the RC8" where this beast will loose half its field.
I think the big step up here is in both the size of the CCD and the well depth increase allowing much better overall data and a much larger field of view.
So far I am very excited with the results I am getting considering I am just getting aquainted with this big beast.
Next exploit will be to finish off Eta Carina then get some RGB data on this field and blend it with the Ha data and see what I end up with.
