I have Windows 7 64 bit installed on a separate computer for testing purposes. I don't particularly like it at the moment because I need to learn how to access the things I always used in earlier versions. This slows down my use when I need to think about the options I used to get from the old files, edit and view menus.
The big drawback for me is the number of DOS based utilities that I have compiled from QBASIC and BASIC that will no longer run on a 64 bit system.
I can get around this by running VMware OS but that is still a bit messy. However I don't have any problems with running and compiling Stellarium.
