Exactly, what if yr 24yr old became totally disabled, with a life time of medical bills and 24/7 care.
Its we take responsibility for our actions (my choice) or society.
NZ has a nifty answer, universal fixed compensation for specified injuries due to all the adverse effects of items you list in yr post Peter.
I agree with you though, Its getting more like the US here in OZ, a wish for freedom without the responsibility.
I vote for more democratic freedom without legal recourse to the consequences.
