Arhem...err..I think a number of other people may have felt they had entered images of sufficient calibre too ya know ...Not sure it would have been that David thought that all the awarded images were always "better" in any specific quantitaive way but rather I am sure in many cases something about them just appealed to him a little more or intregued him etc. David has clear bias (in a good way) too, certain objects continually get awarded year in year out, for example...a Corona Australis image has received an award in 4 of the last 5 years and an image of jupiter consisting of several globes in a row showing a moon transit has been awarded every year.

There must be a truck load of great images that just didn't make it for one reason or another, that's just how it works
