Here are 2 more planetaries that Ray has tweeked in Iris for me. The first is NGC 3132 and the second IC 4406. In both cases more nebula detail is revealed, showing finer structure. I agree with your comments Jase that the stars can suffer. Perhaps this would be where the starless look may help.
