Thanks Bird, it would be great to image this region in good seeing but even so there is so much detail visible, even in ordinary seeing. This morning John Rogers pointed out that there had been major changes since Brian Coombes imaged the oval BA region 10 hrs earlier on the previous rotation.
To image such a dynamic feature that is still evolving from the merger / collision, is really exciting. I see that it will be well positioned July 1st 17:40 UTC and tomorrow morning it will be visible but very close to sunrise. Might have to have go, Emil has been producing stunning work in daylight.
