The instructions eludes to the possibility that ST-8300 users can install the heater unit themselves. What does this do to the warranty..void it if you get it wrong. Does Peter Ward have to install it on behalf of SBIG..if so it's not exactly free. The hardest part seems to be the soldering and anyone that has performed the task knows it can be a pain if you don't do it correctly.
