You at least worked to get some detail in the shadow... don't underrate your effort.
I think the main part is hardware... and better hardware is always on the wish list
I used PS CS2 to adjust levels, and a plug-in for it called Topaz Detail to boost the features. PS was used to mount the montage. Thats about it really.
Oh yeah, the hardware is a Vixen 102M Achromatic Refrator (dubbed "The Kaleidoscope" but some
), Modded Canon 450D, mounted on an NEQ6 Pro. Really need to upgrade the glass.
