My piture of Saturn (recently)

Hello:

Up here in the northern hemisphere we can see Saturn and Mars in the constellation Leo the Lion in the west after sundown.

Saturn of course is near edge-on and so it's rings are near edge-on making it look different.

Saturn1.jpg is of the Edge-on rings.

And Saturn.jpg is a yellow oval-looking glowing thing that is my attempt to photograph it when I had 1.25" eyepiece projection with my Meade and used a yellow filter. This last image was taken when the rings were at a wider and fuller phase.

Besides getting the tracking right, focus and filters does anyone else have any suggestions?
