Thank you Adam. I followed your instructions, and yes it worked. I can't get all the iPod Apps in one folder so I removed them from the folder. Now they're out of order I I can't remember which order they were in.
The old version gave me rock solid Wi-Fi signal strength around the house apart from when the microwave was going. Version 4.0 gives me a variable Wi-Fi signal strength and also runs a bit slower. I hope the next version fixes the problem.
