Thanks Mike. The field's ok, I can't complain about the overall look . It's just this blue cast around the dark lanes. The data lacks dynamic range. No matter how hard I tried to curve or extract more it's a dead end. There's just not enough of it?

Thanks David. Yes I did stretch it hard to get some colors especially in the golden stars so had to push the greens and red up a bit. 2min subs wasn't enough for this one with the ED80 and the first half was shot in twilight. I'll know better next time.

I noticed centered in IC4628 & over towards NGC6242 on the left are several extended pinkish stars, interestingly these coincide with infra-red sources on Simbad's database....well it was interesting for me anyway.

Thanks Justin. Ermmm... yeah I think that might be my own doing

I did some very small spikes with starspike pro and it does colorise and saturate the stars halos a little so those little pink stars might be more yellowish in reality.

Now you've mentioned it I can see the blueish oil spill all over
