Who can you report dodgy tradies to?!
Who can you report dodgy tradies to?!
This year I've had a zero-percent success rate with tradies ...
- cable guy - all phones and internet stopped working
- ISP - no hardware to access internet, but still charged me for it
- electrician - ceiling cables that don't all work, and mislabelled the ones that do
- painter - that didn't paint the top of anything
- floorboard guy - that trimmed doors, that now don't close
- door guy - that installed the wrong door downstairs, and the down back-to-front upstairs
- kitchen benchtop guy - that installed a cracked benchtop, and sludge throughout kitchen cupboards (and claims that granite is supposed to crack, refuses to put his opinion in writing, and refuses to see me in person)
- stereo guy - still waiting 10 weeks for modifications
- car stereo guy - that can't fix or replace what they sell & install
- air-conditioning guy - that left random cricket ball sized holes in walls, and concrete in carpet
- car exhaust guy - that resulted in my car being 1dB above the legal limit, and thus reportable to the EPA
Okay, so maybe there may be genuine tradies out there ... but I don't think I'll ever have the opportunity of ever meeting one!
