The Perth metro area is only serviced by one dedicated shop and that's BTOW, like with anything its best to shop around and there's a number of interstate stores that are good to deal with. There's a number of camera stores dotted through the city that has modest equipment but there is one that has a surprising large selling area

The state funded observatory located just out from Perth offers tours and viewing nights {if your keen you can volunteer to help with these nights to}, well worth the visit ....

The private Golden Grove observatory has public viewing nights which i think can be organised through the AWGA/BTOW group
