I find that all ISP's do this no matter what, I also used IINET for a period of 6 years or more (can't remember exactly) and in that time they have grown but things have happened that are what I would deem normal for the industry. But being with OPTUS for a sinle year and Bigpong for nearly 2 years their actions are far worse.

I was foortunate enough to move to IINET thanks to the seperation of the wholesale and retail wing of Telstra. This has been the most momentus occasion for me as while they were together I was stuck with a far inferior service in my RIM location.

The only disadvantage with moving to IINET is that I can't get free monthly access I obtained from Telstra because they would do stupid things to my connection that would require me to contact TIO.

So in comparison they still win out.
