BTW, from my place now I went outside and I counted the stars that I can see, 2 planets, and 22 stars. anything below mag +3 is just not viewable at all there is a vapour haze and the lights are on everywhere, including the dog track. it is horrible tonight, and it is a dark moon night too with bad weather on friday sat sunday
