I know what you mean about burn-offs
I live on Bowen Mt and it seems in the winter (when skies are best) everyone is either burning off piles of bush, backburning or maybe just running their fireplaces all providing some smoke haze!!
Anyway, I'm doing a H0ughy all tonight as well - mainly on M17.
